The New York City Hash House Harriers announced that the 2018 annual Red Dress Run weekend is scheduled for September 21 – 23rd 2018. This is NYCH3’s 21st annual Red Dress.

The Sans Clue Hash House Harriers are hosting their 1000th run and 25th birthday over the weekend of April 1st 2018 in Paris, France. They promise an open Friday night bar, transportation to the start of their Red Dress R*n on Saturday (#999) and r*n #1000 on Sunday, 2 birthday parties, plus booze and food all weekend. Attendees will also receive commemorative haberdashery.
The web site describes the weekend as “fabulous freezing froggy Sans Clue hashing fun!”

Did you know that there’s more than one Summit Hash in New Jersey? I didn’t, but I do now. The Anything Goes Summit HHH is hashing the very week that this notice is being posted, on Saturday 8 Apr at 3PM. Start is at at 236 Communipaw Ave in Jersey City near Liberty State Park.

The White House Hash House Harriers from northern Virginia/DC are hosting a campout in Rileyville, Virginia during the weekend of 28-30 July 2017. Kiddie from the Tampa Bay H3 is offering a bus tour for hashers attending Eurohash 2017 in Vienna during July 2017. Sounds like fun! The tour runs for 10 days and is estimated to cost around $1600US per hasher. The party bus will visit Munich, Venice, Zagreb, Budapest, Prague, Salzburg, and Vienna. The rego gets you a shared hotel room, breakfast, and five dinners.
The Skull and Boners H3 celebrate their third anniversary with a hash in Meridan, Connecticut in November 18-20, 2016. Skull and Boners is a relatively new, “American Traditional” hash that runs around the New Haven area.

The New York City Hash House Harriers hosts its 19th annual Red Dress Run on the weekend of September 24 2016. Just like the city itself, the NYC event is always a raucous good time. The A to A trail promises lots of sights where hashers can simultaneously take in and be the scenery in the crowded city streets.

The Washington DC Red Dress Run is always an epic event, however this year the RDR committee is introducing a special King of the Hill award to the non-DC-area kennel that brings in the most attendees. All RDR-attending hashers from the winning kennel receives a “cool, shiny, glowing”, and possibly pretty worthless, prize.
So if you want to bring home something unique from this year’s DC RDR, start bugging your friends into registering.
As of right now, in hash-vs-hash competition, Philadelphia’s Ben Franklin Mob H3 is in the lead with 10 regos, followed by Richmond H3, Hockessin H3, and Tidewater H3.
The differences between the leaders and back-of-the-pack is pretty small, so there’s still an opportunity for an upset when rego finally closes.
The 2016 DC Red Dress Run takes place on Saturday October 8, 2016, starting at 12PM (11AM for VIPs). Venue is the Capitol Skyline Hotel, (also the hash hotel for out-of-towners), which features an outdoor pool and poolside bar and is less than a mile from the US Capitol and National Mall. Special hasher rate for rooms is $199 per night.
For your registration, you get half a day of RDR activities, trail, beer check, buffet dinner, and late night dancing.
As of this writing, rego is $95, however once those sell out the cost will go up to the final price of $105 until that sells out (DC Red Dress does sell out). Registration will close on October 3rd. Register here at hashrego.com.
